Operations Coordinator
Job Description
1. Project Management
Coordinating sales projects, working with local media companies in the UK, Ireland and Continental Europe
Following checklists to ensure delivery of key activities on an agreed timeframe.
Working closely with the staff of media companies and internally with Inspire Media staff
Regular national, and occasional European travel, onsite with media companies for sales projects
Basic event management
Reporting
2. Marketing Coordination
Organising and scheduling the various marketing activities for Inspire Media
Liaising internally and with Inspire Media clients to organise, schedule and help deliver their marketing activities
Principal marketing activities involve – Social Media, Email, Direct Mail, Print advertising
Assisting with CRM system administration & development
Campaign budget tracking
Campaign reporting
Assisting to build-out improved marketing systems and processes
3. Administration
Managing a selection of administrative activities within the business to ensure its smooth running
Supporting the Managing Director and senior Project Manager to build-out improved company systems and processes
Coordinating meetings, training & social events
Travel bookings
Basic financial admin support
Standard office admin & reporting
Experience & Attributes
The successful candidate must (be):
well organised and capable of handling multiple tasks each day, in what is regularly a high-paced work environment
able to work closely as part of a (largely remote) team, and possesses good teamwork and communication skills
able to work flexible hours, from time to time
willing to work on their own for successive days, from time to time
able to travel nationally on a regular basis (accompanied by other Inspire staff)
familiar with standard office software applications, such as Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), or their equivalent
comfortable working with Social Media applications
have basic writing skills
Possess a ‘can do’ attitude, able to solve problems and reach successful outcomes
The successful candidate should ideally (but not essentially):
be willing to travel within Europe on occasion, for up to one week at a time (accompanied by other Inspire staff)
have a UK Driver’s License
have some experience with Social Media management
Training
Full training for the role will be delivered internally, and as part of an ongoing training programme subscribed to by Inspire Media with partner training providers.
Remuneration
Salary, plus bonus
Negotiable - based on candidate’s existing skills & experience
